Gary Bennett Cohen (born 26 October 1948) is an American historian.
Between 2010 and 2013, he was the chair of the Department of History, University of Minnesota.
He focuses on social development, ethnic group relations, and education in Austria and the Czech lands in the 19th and 20th centuries.
[2] Cohen is also interested in modern European Jewish history and ethnic minorities in modern Europe.
