Gary Thomas Blore[1] is a retired Rear Admiral of the United States Coast Guard.
[2][3] As of February 2017, he was serving as Director of Operations, Readiness and Exercises for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency.
From 1977 until 1982, he served as a helicopter aircraft commander at Coast Guard Air Station Brooklyn, NY, and participated in the Mariel (Cuba) to Key West Cuban Exodus of 1980.
[5] From 1998 to 2002, Blore served as a Guardian fanjet aircraft commander at Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod, where he was deployed for four months to Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, in early 1991.
On July 14, 2009, Admiral Blore assumed Command of the Thirteenth Coast Guard District in Seattle, Washington.
