Gaston is a town in Lexington County, South Carolina, United States.

It is part of the Columbia, South Carolina Metropolitan Statistical Area.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 3.4 square miles (8.8 km2), all land.

As of the 2020 United States census, there were 1,608 people, 684 households, and 458 families residing in the town.
