Gavin Edwards (born 1968) is an American journalist and non-fiction writer.
He has written 14 books, including The Tao of Bill Murray: Real-Life Stories of Joy, Enlightenment, and Party Crashing, and Bad Motherfucker:The Life and Movies of Samuel L. Jackson, the Coolest Man in Hollywood.
He co-wrote MCU: The Reign of Marvel Studios, a New York Times bestseller published in 2023.
He graduated from Yale University in 1990 with a BA in English.
[5][6] Edwards' 2016 book, The Tao of Bill Murray, consisted of a brief biography of Bill Murray, a 106-page filmography of 59 films, and a breakdown of the "10 Principles of Bill," a "kind of existentialist/Zen mashup that preaches a heightened awareness of the present.
