Geijera salicifolia, commonly known as glasswood, green satinheart or scrub wilga,[2] is a species of shrub or tree in the family Rutaceae and is native to Australia, New Guinea and New Caledonia.
It has narrow elliptic to egg-shaped leaves, small white flowers in loose groups and oval to more or less spherical fruit, each containing a shiny black seed.
Geijera salicifolia is a shrub or tree that typically grows to a height of 25–35 m (82–115 ft), sometimes with hairs on the branches, flowers and lower surface of the leaves.
Flowering occurs from September to November and the fruit is oval to more or less spherical, 5–6 mm (0.20–0.24 in) long containing a shiny black seed.
