George Dodington (c. 1681–1757),[1] of Horsington, Somerset, was an English politician who sat in the House of Commons between 1730 and 1754.
Dodington was the only surviving son of William Dodington of London and his wife Edith Rookes, daughter of Thomas Rookes, stationer of London.
In the interval while he was out of parliament he lost his first wife Edith, who died in June 1745, and married Mary Bennet in 1746.
He was returned again as MP for Weymouth and Melcombe Regis at the 1747 British general election, but did not stand in 1754.
