He has previously played for Whitehaven and the Batley Bulldogs in the Championship on loan and dual registration from Castleford.
Hill played junior rugby league for North Derbyshire Chargers and Sheffield Hawks ARLFC.

[11][12] Hill maintained his place in the first team over the following weeks,[13] and in May it was announced that he signed a three-year contract extension with Castleford, with an option for a fourth year.
[20] Hill played for the Batley Bulldogs in the Championship during the 2024 season, through their dual registration arrangement with Castleford.
