George Miller (born 27 March 1945) is a Scottish former footballer who played as a wing-half.
[1][2] Miller was brought up in Greenock and played for St Johnstone F.C.
After making 68 appearances and scoring zero goals for St Johnstone, he transferred to Brechin City F.C.
Whilst he played for St Johnstone,[1] he famously scored not one, but two own goals in the Scottish League Cup semi-final against Dundee F.C.
[3][4][5] After the embarrassment of the game, he was told by the manager, Willie Ormond, to "go and get drunk" to try and forget the match.
