George E. Schaefer Jr. (born November 23, 1989) is an American baseball coach and former pitcher.
He played college baseball at Charleston Southern for coach Stuart Lake from 2009 to 2013.
He then served as the interim head coach of the Charleston Southern Buccaneers in 2020.
[1] Schaefer played for the school's varsity basketball and baseball teams.
[2] In the fall of 2014, he was hired to become the pitching coach at Iona College.
