Georges Marcel Émile Nicolas Perron OFMCap (12 January 1925 – 6 May 2021) was a French prelate of the Roman Catholic Church.
Georges Perron was born on January 12, 1925,[1] as the second in a family of six children.
[2] He entered the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin, did his profession in 1945[3] and was ordained a priest on June 29, 1951[3] in the Nantes Cathedral.
[4] Pope John Paul II appointed him bishop of Djibouti in Africa on November 21, 1992.
[2][1][3] He was bishop of Djibouti until his retirement age on March 13, 2001.
