Georgije Bakalović

Georgije Bakalović (1786 - April 13, 1843) was a Serbian painter.

Bakalović was born in Sremski Karlovci, and studied there with the painter Stefan Gavrilović.

One of the iconostasis, he worked in the company of the painter and goldsmith Pavel Đurković.

Bakalović also painted iconostasis in 1840 at Prhovo and Novi Banovci.

He also painted the portraits of Miloš Obrenović I, Prince of Serbia, Stefan Stratimirović, and Ivan Knežević, better known as Knyaz Ivo of Semberija.
