Gerald A. Reynolds

Gerald A. Reynolds (born 1964) is an American politician and lawyer who served as chairman of the United States Commission on Civil Rights from 2004 to 2011.

On March 29, 2002, Reynolds was appointed by Bush to the position of Assistant Secretary of Education for the Office for Civil Rights.

[citation needed] He later served as a deputy associate attorney general in the United States Department of Justice, providing legal advice on various matters to the United States Associate Attorney General.

Since 2012, he has worked as general counsel, chief compliance officer, and corporate secretary at LG&E and KU Energy.
