Gerald J. Lynch

[1] Lynch earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from Bellarmine College and his Master's and Ph.D. in economics from the University of Kentucky in 1971 and 1975 respectively.

In the spring of 2006, he was a visiting researcher at the World Bank in Washington, D.C. Lynch was voted by master's students as the recipient of the Salgo-Noren Award as outstanding instructor five times.

He is a Fellow of the Teaching Academy at Purdue, and was listed in 1994 by BusinessWeek as one of the 12 best teachers nationally in schools of business.

[1] Lynch specializes in monetary theory and policy, macroeconomics, and international trade and finance.

Lynch has also worked as an economic consultant for companies including Sears, Caterpillar, B.F. Goodrich, TRW, Wabash National, and BankOne.
