Gerhard Menzel (29 September 1894 – 4 May 1966) was a German screenwriter.
He was supportive of Nazism and worked for Nazi propaganda.
[1][2] He was responsible for writing the script of Heimkehr, one of the most infamous pieces of Nazi cinema, which featured racism and hateful images of Poles.
[3] He was born in Waldenburg, Lower Silesia, Germany (now Walbrzych, Poland) and died in Comano, Ticino, Switzerland.
