Gholam Hossein Mazloumi

He played for three clubs including Taj Abadan, Taj Tehran (Esteghlal), and Shahbaz FC, as well as the Iranian national team and the national youth team of Iran.

During his time as a football player, he scored 37 goals for the Iran national football team and was Iran's all-time top scorer for twelve years before his record being broken by Ali Daei.

He won the Asian Club Championship in the 1969–70 season,[5] as well as the Iranian league in 1970–71 and 1974–75, and he reached the second place in 1973–74.

[2] Mazloumi made his debut for the Iran national team in September 1969 in a match against Pakistan.

He left the club after playing two games in his second season and was replaced with Mansour Pourheidari.

He was diagnosed with stomach cancer in 2012 and died on 19 November 2014 in Naja Hospital in Tehran.
