Ghuwara is a town and a nagar panchayat in Chhatarpur district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.Also known as the heart of Bundelkhand.

Ghuwara is located on 24°30′48″N 79°05′04″E / 24.513333°N 79.084444°E / 24.513333; 79.084444 [1] It has an average elevation of 508 metres (1,669 feet).

As of 2001[update] India census,[2] Ghuwara had a population of 10,813.

As of 2013[update] India census,[3] Ghuwara had a population of 22,311.
