Gihara

[2] Gihara people are migrants from Rajasthan, who went into diaspora after the war in Haldighati.

This gave birth to their modern name in their language, Ghar harna or Greh hara ("we lost in war") slowly corrupted into Giharwar.In haldighati war they will fight but lost the war in history they belongs to rajpoot tribe (kabila).Their language is derived from Persian.In history they are belongs to kshatriya varan .

These are the Sora, Vaid , Sodha, sodhi,radisodha,rathi, Bais, Otwar, Gohar, gaur,goel,saini,rana,chauhan,rathore,monga,Marriayyah and Khatabiya.

Many Gihara peoplesare still involved in their traditional occupation of stone sculpting.

Some in ancient times were involved in rope making and bamboo fencing.
