Girgarre Football Club

Girgarre was established in 1920 and has competed in the Kyabram District Football Association (KDFA) since 1932.

Girgarre is a small town in Goulburn Valley, Victoria.

[2] Girgarre and Stanhope merged between 1948 and 1955 and enter one senior and reserves team in the Goulburn Valley Football League, Girgarre also returned to the Kyabram District Football Association in 1949 as a stand alone side.

[3] In March 1948, Girgarre and Stanhope decided to merge and entered their "senior" team in the Goulburn Valley Football League and their "reserves" team in the Kyabram District Football Association.

[4] Only one week later, the Girgarre / Stanhope FC later decided to enter their "reserves" side into the newly formed Goulburn Valley Football League Reserves competition.
