Gladstone (New Zealand electorate)

Gladstone was a parliamentary electorate in the Canterbury region of New Zealand, from 1866 to 1890.

[8] John Studholme won the resulting January 1879 by-election unopposed, and was confirmed at the 1879 general election.

[9] The 1887 election was contested by Arthur Rhodes, Jeremiah Twomey and F Franks.

[11] Rhodes served until the end of the term in 1890,[12] when the electorate was abolished.
