Glenda Baskin Glover, Ph.D, J.D., CPA, is an American educator, who was the president of Tennessee State University.
[1] Glover was born in Memphis, Tennessee, and was raised in the Weaver Road vicinity near Boxtown.
[citation needed] She began her educational development as a student at Tennessee State University, where she majored in mathematics.
After graduating with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree, she earned the Master of Business Administration at Clark Atlanta University in 1976.
She is a certified public accountant and an attorney, and is one of two African American women in the nation to hold the Ph.D-CPA-JD combination.
