Glorieta is a census-designated place (CDP) in Santa Fe County, New Mexico, United States.
[4] The community is located in the southern Sangre de Cristo Mountains, along Interstate 25 on the east side of Glorieta Pass.
Glorieta is located along the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway (now the BNSF); it was a stop along the record-breaking Scott Special passenger train.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 7.6 square miles (20 km2), all land.
19.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 2.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
