Gmina Oleśnica[2] is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Staszów County, Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, in south-central Poland.
Its seat is the village of Oleśnica, which lies approximately 15 kilometres (9 mi) south-west of Staszów and 58 km (36 mi) south-east of the regional capital Kielce.
The gmina covers an area of 53.38 square kilometres (20.6 sq mi), and as of 2010 its total population is 3,891.
According to the 2011 Poland census, there were 3,891 people residing in Oleśnica Commune, of whom 49.7% were male and 50.3% were female.
