[1] Gonca Nahcıvanlı began her handball career in 1994 at the club Raks in her hometown İzmir.
[2] She has won four league championship titles, with TMO SK (2002–03), Kometal Gjorče Petrov (2005–06 and 2006–07) as well as with Muratpaşa Bld.
[5][6] She was part of the silver medal-winning national team at the 2009 Mediterranean Games held in Pescara, Italy.
[6] In 2017, she won the silver medal with the national team at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku, Azerbaijan.
[8][9] She played in the national team, which took part in the 2010 Beach Handball World Championships in Antalya, Turkey.
