In the initial phase, the shopping center was implemented by the city of Hämeenlinna, the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency, the Häme Ely Center, HAMK Häme University of Applied Sciences and the construction company NCC.

[4] The name of the shopping center comes from singer-composer Irwin Goodman (1943–1991), who was born and influenced in Hämeenlinna.

According to Keva, Irwin Goodman is probably the most famous resident of Hämeenlinna, born in the 20th century, and the shopping center is "built just for life.
