Gordon Hartogensis (born June 17, 1970) is an American businessman, investor, and government official who served as the Director of the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) from 2019 to 2024.
[1][2] Hartogensis left a brief career at Credit Suisse in 1993 to join two classmates from Stanford as an equal partner in a startup supply chain management software company called Petrolsoft Corporation.
[3][4] Shortly after his departure from Aspen, Hartogensis founded and led Auric Technology, a customer relationship management (CRM) software company.
