Gorshechnoye

Gorshechnoye (Russian: Горшечное) is an urban locality (an urban-type settlement) in Gorshechensky District of Kursk Oblast, Russia.

Population: 5,106 (2021 Census);[4] 6,137 (2010 Census);[1] 6,915 (2002 Census);[5] 6,863 (1989 Soviet census).

[6] On 25 January 1943, the settlement (then under German occupation) was recaptured by the Soviet 40th Army, enabling the continuation of Soviet operations towards Stary Oskol.
