Stadium was built in 1981 for purposes of hosting Inter-municipalities Youth Sports Games also known as the MOSI Games (Montenegrinn: Međuopštinske omladinske sportske igre/Међународне омладинске спортске игре).
During the 2017, Football Association of Montenegro started the renovation of the stadium.
