Steel balls were embedded inside the body, constituting striking elements.

Compared to the F-1 grenade, it was possible to achieve three times greater effectiveness in the striking area with a smaller weight.

The RGO grenade is manufactured by Zakłady Metalowe Dezamet in Nowa Dęba and is in service with the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland.

The main element is a plastic body with embedded steel balls.

In the upper part of the body is the UZGR or UZRGM fuse socket.
