Granite is a town in Greer County, Oklahoma, United States.

Lake Altus on the North Fork Red River is 2 miles (3 km) east of the center of town.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 3.2 square miles (8.4 km2), all land.

Situated at the foot of the Wichita Mountains, Granite is home to significant mining operations.

Granite is also home to Oklahoma State Reformatory, a medium-security corrections facility also boasting some maximum and minimum-security housing for adult male inmates.
