There were 1,367 housing units at an average density of 41.1 per square mile (15.9/km2).

There were 1,151 households, out of which 32.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.1% were married couples living together, 7.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 24.0% were non-families.

20.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 8.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

The township is served by two separate public school districts.
