Granville Hudson Sherwood (December 8, 1878 - November 22, 1923) was the third bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Springfield.
He attended St Paul School in Concord, New Hampshire, graduating in 1896.
Sherwood trained for the ordained ministry at the Western Theological Seminary, and graduated in 1903.
[1] Sherwood was ordained deacon in June 1903, and priest in December 1903, by Bishop Charles P. Anderson of Chicago.
He was also President of the Standing Committee of the Diocese of Quincy and Deputy to the General Convention between 1907 and 1916.
