Greenbelt Reparations Task Force

The Greenbelt Reparations Commission was created by the City Council of Greenbelt, Maryland, in the US to implement a referendum vote in 2021 calling for the establishment of a body to investigate, and make recommendations regarding, reparations to African-Americans in Greenbelt.

The scope of the Commission's charge also includes consideration of reparations for indigenous people.

The commission is composed of 21 members, residents of Greenbelt appointed by City Council.
