Greg Jones (basketball)

He was an All-American player at West Virginia University and later Rookie of the Year in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA).

He was a three-year starter for the Mountaineers, leading them to three straight 20-win seasons and consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances in 1982 and 1983.

His senior year, Jones averaged 22.3 points per game, including 32 in an upset of then-#1 UNLV.

[1] Following the close of Jones' college career, he was selected by the Indiana Pacers in the 3rd round of the 1983 NBA draft.

Jones averaged 18.3 points and 3.9 assists per game for the Flyers and was named the 1984 CBA Rookie of the Year.
