Gregor Willmes

Gregor Willmes (born 30 March 1966) is a German musicologist, music writer and cultural manager.

[1][2] Born in Wanne-Eickel, Willmes took private piano, organ and music theory lessons with Matthias Kreuels.

Since 2008 Willmes has been working as cultural manager for the Berliner Klavierfabrik C. Bechstein Pianoforte Aktiengesellschaft.

Since 2000 he has been a member of the jury for the Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik in the piano category.

[3] Willmes was lecturer for piano music history and literature at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold in Dortmund.
