The racial makeup of the town was 98.90% White, 0.07% Native American, 0.37% Asian, 0.07% Pacific Islander, and 0.59% from two or more races.

21.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 9.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
