Gulkana /ɡʌlˈkænə/ (C'uul C'ena' [3] in Ahtna Athabascan) is a census-designated place (CDP) in Copper River Census Area, Alaska, U.S. At the 2020 census the population was 110, down from 119 in 2010.
[4] According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 36.5 square miles (95 km2), all of it land.
The racial makeup of the CDP was 26.14% White, 71.59% Native American, and 2.27% from two or more races.
27.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 12.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
There were 35.3% of families and 40.7% of the population living below the poverty line, including 40.0% of under eighteens and none of those over 64.
