Guman Mal Lodha

Guman Mal Lodha (1926 – 22 March 2009) was the chief justice of Gauhati High Court and former member of Lok Sabha.

He was Born in a Marwari Jain family [1][2] in 1926 in Didwana, Nagaur District in Rajasthan, India, Lodha graduated with BCom and LLB degrees at Jaswant College, Jodhpur.

He served as the chairman for Animal Welfare Board of India and National Commission on Cattle.

People for Animals (PFA) Haryana Chairman Naresh Kadyan, representative of OIPA in India, announced a "Justice Guman Mal Lodha Memorial National Award" to the former Superintendent of Faridabad Police Srikant Jadhav, IPS.
