Gunma (群馬郡, Gunma-gun) was a district located in Gunma Prefecture, Japan.
As of June 30, 2004, the district had an estimated population of 22,303.
Until the day before the dissolution (September 30, 2006), the district had one town.
On October 1, 2006, the town of Haruna was merged into the expanded city of Takasaki.
Therefore, Gunma District was dissolved as a result of this merger.
