Gunsundari is 1934 Indian Hindi social drama film directed by Chandulal Shah.
Due to his alcoholic father's behaviour, Chandrakant is disheartened as falls for schemes of Madanrai and prostitute Bansari who are plotting to get her property.
Sushila, a sister-in-law of Chandrakant's wife Gunsundari, has troubled relationship with his husband Vasantrai who takes away her necklace.
After advent of talkies, Chandulal Shah remade his 1927 silent film Gunsundari in Hindi.
[2] It was remade again in 1948 under Ajit Pictures and directed by Shah's nephew Ratilal Punatar and starred Nirupa Roy.
