Gustav Carl Helsted (30 January 1857 - 1 March 1924) was a Danish organist and composer.

He was a student of Gottfred Matthison-Hansen.

[1] Helsted was the first organist of the Jesus Church in Copenhagen.

[2] He was paid 600 Danish crowns a year for the position.
