Colonel Guy James Brownlow DSO DL (26 December 1883 – 19 January 1960) was a British Army officer.

[1] Brownlow was born in County Monaghan, Ireland, the eldest son of William Claude Brabazon Brownlow JP and Janet Georgina Orme.

He was educated at Harrow School and the Royal Military College, Sandhurst.

Following the war, Brownlow left the army with the rank of colonel.

They had three children: In the 1930s Brownlow lived at Hays, in the village of Sedgehill, Wiltshire.
