Guy Salmon

Guy Winston Salmon ONZM (born 1949) is a New Zealand environmentalist.

His father was John Salmon, who was a noted entomologist and professor of zoology at Victoria University of Wellington.

[2] Salmon is executive director of the Ecologic Foundation,[3] an independent policy think tank.

[5] Salmon stood as a candidate for Parliament on behalf of the Progressive Greens in 1996 and the New Zealand National Party in the 2002 election.

[6] In the 2021 New Year Honours, Salmon was appointed an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit, for services to the environment.
