HMS Sunderland was a 60-gun fourth rate ship of the line of the Royal Navy, launched at Northam in Southampton on 17 March 1694.
[2] The Sunderland was hulked in 1715, and reported sunk as part of the foundation of a breakwater in 1737.
[2] However, an alternative report is that she was fitted as a hospital ship in June 1741 and so employed until condemned at Port Mahon on 10 March 1744.
