HUNT Biobank

The biobank is part of HUNT Research Centre, which is responsible for collecting and providing access to the data and samples from the health study, and the research centre is part of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).

[1] The HUNT Study has, so far (2020), been carried out in four main surveys (HUNT1–HUNT4) of the population in the northern part of the county.

[2] Until 1 January, 2018, the northern and southern parts of Trøndelag were two separate counties: Nord-Trøndelag and Sør-Trøndelag.
