They were a part of the Ontario Provincial Junior A Hockey League.
[1] Originating as the Hamilton Red Wing B's, the team became the Hamilton Mountain Bees in 1967 as a member of the Niagara & District Junior B Hockey League.
In 1974, the team switched over to the new Golden Horseshoe Junior B Hockey League.
[2] They folded in 1984 to make way for the Ontario Hockey League's Hamilton Steelhawks.
