Hamilton Township forms the eastern and southern borders of Blossburg.

As of the census[4] of 2000, there were 462 people, 176 households, and 124 families residing in the township.

The racial makeup of the township was 98.92% White, 0.43% Native American, 0.22% Asian, 0.22% Pacific Islander, and 0.22% from two or more races.

23.9% of all households were made up of individuals, and 13.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
