Hamlet is a village in Hayes County, Nebraska, United States.
A granary is located there, also an elementary school and a community hall, and two churches; otherwise, no other services or businesses.
Hamlet was originally called Hudson, and under the latter name a post office was established in 1890.
[5][6] According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.31 square miles (0.80 km2), all land.
32.1% of all households were made up of individuals, and 7.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
There were no families and 8.3% of the population living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and none of those over 64.
