Palisade is a village in Hayes and Hitchcock counties in the U.S. state of Nebraska.
Palisade was established at its current site in 1882, when the railroad was extended to that point.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.36 square miles (0.93 km2), all land.
37.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 17.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
30.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 21.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
The emphasis is on Palisade High School alumni; the event includes games, meals, and a parade.
