Hammond High School (Indiana)

Part of the School City of Hammond district, it opened in 1884 and graduated its final class in the spring of 2021.

In the aftermath of the fire, students shared the campus of Hammond Tech, attending classes in the afternoon while Hammond Tech students went to class in the morning.

[7] The early 2000s saw Hammond High School placed on probationary accreditation status from the Indiana Department of Education.

The pass rates for Hammond students on the 2008–09 exams was 32.8%; the statewide average was 73.7%.
