Hans Sven Torstensson Nerell (born 27 September 1944) is a former tennis player from Sweden.
[1][2] Nerell represented Sweden at the Olympic Games in Mexico City in 1968 when tennis was a demonstration sport.
[3] Nerell was a regular member of the Swedish Davis Cup team between 1968 and 1971, playing in six ties.
His first appearance was against Rhodesia in the 1968 Davis Cup Europe Zone, first-round tie that was scheduled for Båstad, Sweden.
[4] A demonstrators protest, that became known as the Båstad riots, against the political situation in Rhodesia, caused the tie to be moved to Bandol, France.
